If you have been watching the news you may have seen a story about what happened in Zanesville, OH yesterday. Zanesville is less than 50 miles away from where I live (and we have family there) so I watched with horror as this all unfolded. I Love Nature But Do I Have to Love Spiders?
The other day I was watching my daughter play outside and she started to freak out about a bee. If it wasn't a bee it would have been a bug. She HATES the creepy crawlies and I can't blame her since I was the same way. It was well into my adult years that I started to accept them and not shriek and jump onto the nearest high surface. Berry Smooth Summer Smoothie
No doubt I have mentioned before that I am a smoothie freak. I am "trying" to cut down to just one a day because I can really go overboard, especially in the summer. I made the following smoothie this morning and it was quite delicious. You may have heard about this already but just in case you missed it...Baby Talk magazine is taking heat from American moms who are outraged by the close-up picture of a baby breastfeeding on one of their recent covers.
