Living the Minimalist Lifestyle

By Tiffany 7 Comments

Nowadays you hear everyone talking about stress, how much they have to accomplish, how little time they have, and how much clutter is in their homes and lives. It is no wonder that a big trend in books and media has been getting back to a simplistic, minimal lifestyle. Many want to have a life that is free of complications; a life that has been pared down to its most basic and fundamental needs. If this sounds good to you then you may be interested in looking into a minimalist lifestyle as … [Read more...]

Green Birth Control and Natural Family Planning

By Tiffany 46 Comments

One area that many overlook on their journey to go more green and natural is family planning. Few of us likely have the emotional and physical strength as well as the resources to go through life without trying to prevent pregnancy at least at some point in our lives. So what is the greenest and most natural way to prevent pregnancy? This is one area where I gravitated to the more natural options even before my natural family living journey actually began. I had strong opinions about some of … [Read more...]

It had much to do with the fact that in general public schools require all students to meet the same cookie cutter standards. Because everyone has to fit a certain mold and be proficient in the exact same things at the exact same levels or beyond they make a HUGE mistake. They are focusing on weaknesses. Your child may be excellent at reading and writing. Perhaps they can write beautiful poems or … [Read more...]

School Issue Update

By Tiffany 14 Comments

Since I had so many supportive comments about my public school issue with my son and requests that I let everyone know how things went, I thought I would give a report. I went to the school meeting this morning. For the first 10 -20 minutes I let them report about my son's lack of progress and the fact that they believe he is about on year behind where he should be academically. When they asked my opinion about all of what they had said I basically explained that I am just not seeing the … [Read more...]

A Rawesome Update

By Tiffany 16 Comments

Just an update on my rawesome journey with raw foods. I am really thinking of staring a separate blog to discuss all this on a naturemoms subdomain but for now here is my progress. I am feeling AMAZING! The other morning my family was eating breakfast with my parents and this is how the conversation went with my Dad: Dad: You look really great. Is it that raw foods thing? Me: Yes, I feel really good....lots of energy. Dad: You look it...you seem really alert and your skin looks really … [Read more...]
