Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Breakfast Cookies or Nests – No Bake!

By Tiffany 9 Comments

As mentioned when I made my Primal Coconut Raspberry Muffins last week I am trying my hardest not to buy LaraBars or any prepacked snack/meal bars anymore. Too much packaging and too much money spent voting for companies that do not share my values. There are some pricier bars I could buy from more ethical companies but those bars would cost upwards of $2.00 a piece. No thanks...and it doesn't solve the packaging issue. Well this weekend I found a darn near perfect solution and I am rather … [Read more...]

Another Reason to Love My Bazura Bags

By Tiffany Leave a Comment

Last year I got some Bazura Bags to use for packed lunches. We like them quite a bit for that use, the kids especially. A lunch bag made of recycled juice bags just has a cool factor I guess. I like them for quickie lunches on the go because they have carrying handles and it looks like a purse. Well, I am finding another wonderful use for them that makes them a bit superior to our other lunch bags/boxes... we can use them for food storage when not in use. The medium size Bazura has become my … [Read more...]

Bazura Lunch Bags

I have been a gig fan of Bazura bags for a long time and just look at them... they are so darn clever! There is nothing inherently cute about juice bags and plastic waste but when recycled into these adorable bags I think it just works. It become stylish and functional. My daughter has been taking the mini lunch box to school every day. It is the perfect size for child's school lunch and she seems to enjoy it as well. The regular lunch tote is actually quite roomy. We took it with us hiking … [Read more...]

Lunch Boxes by Black + Blum

One of my fave stores, Reuseit, it having a sale on their awesome Black + Blum lunchboxes. You may have just bought up some lunch boxes for the kiddos but these are deluxe adult versions, perfect for a working Mom or Dad. If only they had these when I worked outside the home! Right now Reuseit has them discounted more than 20% off which makes them a steal. The Box Appetit has removable nesting containers so that half your lunch can be heated while the other half can remain cold. The bento … [Read more...]

Back to School – Green Style

By Tiffany 18 Comments

Yes, its that time again! What is about back to school that gets everyone excited...even if you homeschool? This year I will have one child at home (and my toddler of course) and one in private school so I do have to do the whole "back to school" thing for her and finding ways to green the school routine are FUN! For the most part I get to just breeze past the local store displays of crayola crayons and lunchboxes...although I have found some green options there too. Here are some cool "green" … [Read more...]
