My Zulily Shopping Wish List

By Tiffany Leave a Comment

Zulily is a deal site that offers amazing prices on everything from kids toys and clothing to women's clothing, shoes, and home decor. It also happens to be one of my very favorite places to shop because the prices are amazing AND they often have greener product options mixed in among the more conventional. In November I bought some workout clothing, a couple toys for my my youngest kiddo, and some kitchen items like my now beloved cast iron skillet. I consider myself to be a VERY savvy online … [Read more...]

This is a somewhat regular feature I added awhile back to organize reader questions. I have a build up in my email inbox so I am doing some virtual housekeeping now. Reader Jen: My plastic laundry baskets are falling apart and I really need to replace them. Any ideas for a great eco-friendly solution? I haven't thought of anything I can re-purpose for hauling my clean laundry upstairs and I'm not sure where to look (preferably locally) for something made with sustainable materials and … [Read more...]

Greenovation and Hot Green Toys

By Tiffany 8 Comments

TGIF! Have an awesome weekend everyone! This weekend hubs and I go for round two on a greenovation project, using non-toxic paints and sustainable materials. We hope to finish so we can go to his company picnic. Homeschooling has been going great. My son is really loving the math, science, and history. The reading is not his fave at all but I am trying to keep it fun. This week we learned about mass and matter and used a balance to measure things and we learned about nomads...we are delving … [Read more...]
