Air fresheners can be expensive and many of them are too strong or have a chemical smell that’s just not pleasant. Most of them have a smell that gags me anyway but sometimes I do like to spray a little something around the house to give it a festive smell. Omega3 and DHA from Algae Instead of Fish Oils
Last week I posted about fish oils and why I feel they are superior to flax oils for Omega3 and DHA supplementation. With all the research that has been done into our body's ability to convert the flax into useful DHA I still think fish oils are superior for that purpose. Of course flax seeds are still beneficial on many levels. They just may not be the best source for DHA. Fish oils admittedly have their own issues though. A Rawesome Update
Just an update on my rawesome journey with raw foods. I am really thinking of staring a separate blog to discuss all this on a naturemoms subdomain but for now here is my progress. Is Vegetarianism the Answer?
I just read an article yesterday that outlines the horrors and travesty of our current animal food product production system in this country. The article claims that vegetarianism is the answer to all of this. I am not at all convinced. I am not a vegetarian. I think this surprises many people because vegetarianism seems to be touted in recent years as the most "natural" way to eat.
