Going Green Has Personal Benefits Too

By Tiffany 6 Comments

Why do we try to make our lives just a little greener? It is because we care about our planet and the future that our children will face someday. They inherit the problems we have created as a society and the problems we fail to do something about. We are also concerned about the present. Numerous global challenges we now face... air pollution, water pollution, climate crisis, wildlife facing extinction... these things impact us all every day and give us cause for alarm and motivation to do what … [Read more...]

Sleep Number m7 Bed Review

By Tiffany 7 Comments

If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook then you probably saw my updates about hanging out at a Sleep Number® store in mid June. Up until a few weeks ago the husband and I (and most nights our 6 year old as well) were sleeping on an old pillowtop mattress and boxspring. We got that bed just as I found out I was pregnant with my second child. She is 8 now so that makes our bed … [Read more...]

Zico Coconut Water Review

By Tiffany 117 Comments

The folks at Zico sent me a case of their coconut water a few weeks back. I was excited to try some coconut water pre and post workout because it seems to be all the rage right now. Fitness bloggers are talking about it and pics of celebrities leaving the gym with a bottle or sippy box in their hand are everywhere. The protein bar thing didn't work out so well when I decided to get in THAT fad but this seemed relatively harmless. Coconut water as it appears in these products is just the water … [Read more...]

Marble Run – Natural Toy Fun

By Tiffany 11 Comments

I don't know about you but I HATE walking down the toy isles in stores. I know all the plastic is not healthy for my kids or the planet but the flashy, techno toys can suck just about any kid in. My 3 year old son for instance is all about robots these days. I am not quite sure how that happened but since Transformers (which he has not seen) is all the rage these days he cannot help but be over the moon for the robots he sees everywhere. Now he is the proud owner of a few robot toys. But still … [Read more...]
