I am a HUGE fan of Barefoot Books. My kids have  many of their titles, some of which I reviewed here, like Whole World and The Boy Who Grew Flowers. Whole World is an amazing book with a music CD and it follows the popular children’s song The Whole World. Not So Great Eco Book for Kids

I made a rookie mom mistake today. I started reading a book to my two youngest kids and didn't read through it myself first. I assumed since it is was an eco themed kids book that I would like it. I didn't like it an regret reading the first 5-6 pages to my 3 and 4 year old kids. I don't like to do negative reviews when it comes to small business or mom products so I won't name the book. WALL-E – An Eco Kids Movie

I finally got to see WALL-E this weekend and LOVED it. I took my kids to a showing on Saturday night at my favorite local theatre called The Palace. It is really a historic Opera/Playhouse that plays movies on the weekends they aren't having live shows. So imagine watching a movie with grand balconies overhead and lovely statues all around.
