Are you going to be welcoming a new baby soon or know someone that will be? Well, having a baby shower is one of the most fun things about being pregnant, at least it was for me. I generally didn't enjoy being pregnant but I certainly loved the anticipation and getting to share my excitement with those closest to me. Baby showers are just a wee bit magical don't you think? The Center of Science and Industry for Summer Fun
As I mentioned previously we checked an item off our summer fun checklist last week. We went to COSI, which in my mind is a science themed children's museum. Because we know it will be cold and snowy for many months I have also been thinking about how we can entertain ourselves without resorting to watching TV all winter. Yes, we will be indoors a lot but … [Read more...]
Eco Friendly Crafts for Kids

I have many activities and fun things planned for the summer that will be highly educational but we aren't calling it "school". One important facet of this will be crafting and creating but I admit we can get carried away consuming supplies so I want to emphasize recycled crafts and projects. Many times parents marvel at the items children will choose to play with for amusement. From pots … [Read more...]
