Savory Pumpkin Soup Recipe

By Tiffany 2 Comments

This just might be my new favorite fall soup. It is scrumptious! Also pretty easy to make, just a bit long on cook time. I love pumpkin and you find great sales on pie pumpkins right about now but I am not big on making tons of sweets and pies. I usually put them in the slow cooker and make my own pumpkin puree for pancakes, smoothies, and souffles. That is about it...until now. You can bet I will be stocking up on pie pumpkins so I can make this soup throughout fall and … [Read more...]

I am making chicken soup for my hubby on this fine day because he is sick. Poor guy. I wanted to make it extra nourishing so I am adding lots of veggies and herbs and of course TONS of garlic. Peeling garlic on the other hand is one of my least favorite things to do. Another meal success with eMeals! I wrote about them a little over a week ago and how their service is helping me plan some yummy meals. They have a regular Valentine's menu too but since I am on the paleo menu plan I got the paleo one. I thought that was very nice bonus. My husband will be working on Valentine's Day most likely so we went ahead and made one of the meals today for a cozy … [Read more...]

Nourishing Egg Drop Soup Recipe

By Tiffany 4 Comments

After coming back from my mini vacation in NYC I have been feeling like I am coming down with a cold. It is probably equal parts exposure to germs and letting my diet go off the paleo wagon while traveling. I was in New York though, I had to have bagels and pastries!!! It's practically the law. Anyway I made chicken soup the other night and wanted something else equally nourishing today but didn't have time for chicken soup. In the end some of my farmer's market goodies helped me decide. … [Read more...]
