We are all big Kombucha fans here. My husband and my three kids adore it and we used to spend a pretty penny buying it bottled from the store. The price is usually anywhere from $4-6 for a single serving bottle. It added up fast and ultimately became a rare treat for us and that was a big shame because Kombucha is so good for you. Imagine my delight that my kids want to drink fermented tea (with oodles of healthy bacteria) instead of drinking soda, milk, or juice. The only thing standing in the … [Read more...]
Reusing Glass Bottles and Jars
Follow my blog with Bloglovin We end up with a fair amount of glass bottles and jars that we must then find a way to reuse and repurpose. Reuseable Straws and Popsicle Molds on Zulily
Three of my absolute favorite things are on sale at Zulily currently. I jumped all over these deals myself so I had to share... We have now established a pretty efficient brewing method in our home and we have gone from spending $4-5 dollars per bottle at the store to home brewed Kombucha for about .17 cents a bottle. Plus we are reusing all the Kombucha bottles we … [Read more...]

But that does not mean we don't also value the same things and want the same things for our lives and family, it just means we have to approach these things differently. If we don't have land of our own to plant rows of corn... we can look for a community garden where we can or perhaps we patronize the … [Read more...]
