Being Grateful for My Good Life Every Day

By Tiffany 5 Comments

This post brought to you by Allstate. All opinions are 100% mine. I am not generally an optimistic person. I don't see the glass as half full without a little effort. I worry a lot. I stress a lot. My stomach being tied in knot is almost a daily occurance. It doesn't have to be over anything big either. It could be the fact that I have to float a bill (I hate that) or that I got stuck in traffic and my kids have to survive ten minutes at home without me after school. I take little stresses … [Read more...]

Getting Organized with Me in a Tree

By Tiffany 2 Comments

I was so encouraged by my progress on my New Year's goals for the month of January. It was an awesome start to the year. Then along came February and I was bombarded by one stressful situation after another. Much of it was stuff I could not control and feeling helpless is no fun at all. Some of it though was just reaping the consequences of being so disorganized. They say that once it rains, it pours and that is the way February went. It's all about the Law of Attraction. Once the bad stuff … [Read more...]

Sleep Number m7 Bed Review

By Tiffany 7 Comments

If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook then you probably saw my updates about hanging out at a Sleep Number® store in mid June. I guess it doesn't take much to draw some conclusions and guess that we were getting a new bed and you would be right. Up until a few weeks ago the husband and I (and most nights our 6 year old as well) were sleeping on an old pillowtop mattress and boxspring. We got that bed just as I found out I was pregnant with my second child. She is 8 now so that makes our bed … [Read more...]

Happy With What You Have – Feng Shui Tips for the Home

By Tiffany 4 Comments

One of the most important aspects of minimalism and learning to live with less is learning to love what you have. This is one of the reasons why I love Feng Shui. It is all about accentuating what you have and creating a sense of beauty and peace within the home. I know you have had the thought once that you just cannot concentrate with all the clutter around you. Well, Feng Shui is about decluttering and arranging furniture and other furnishings in ways that will allow for positive energy … [Read more...]

The Cure – Heal Your Body, Save Your Life

By Tiffany 6 Comments

Do you believe in destiny? Maybe the law of attraction? Sometimes destiny or a higher power driving our actions seems the most plausible explanation and I had a freaky experience with it last weekend. I spent a Thursday night reading a book called The Cure - Heal Your Body, Save Your Life. I was so engrossed that I stayed up very late reading it and occasionally woke my hubby up to tell him about something I read. I felt like I was reading the most important book out there about health and … [Read more...]
