Reusing Glass Bottles and Jars

By Tiffany 9 Comments

Follow my blog with Bloglovin We end up with a fair amount of glass bottles and jars that we must then find a way to reuse and repurpose. Coconut oil jars, jam jars, Trader Joe's sliced peaches jars, artichoke hearts jars, and lately my mom's Kombucha jars. I introduced her to the chia seed Kombucha from GT and she is becoming a fan I think. Most jars end up being beverage and smoothie glasses but other things become storage for dried goods...like wood ears from the Asian market or dried fruit. … [Read more...]

The Yummiest Salad You’ll Ever Eat

By Tiffany 3 Comments

This is the yummiest salad you'll ever eat or a close second or third. I swear it is sooooo very good. By Tiffany 6 Comments

Yesterday I decided to try a recipe I found on Primal Palate. It was soooooo darn yummy that I made it again today. It is actually really easy too, it just takes 45 minutes to cook and it is best if you let it cool and stew in the sauce/juices for awhile but the actual cooking part is a piece of cake. I edited the original recipe to make a few slight changes and I doubled the recipe to make more chicken. OMGoodness! First you melt two tablespoons pastured butter in an oven safe skillet along … [Read more...]

Get Rid of Ants Naturally

By Tiffany 25 Comments

With warmer weather the ants have come. This new place we have been renting since September seems to be wide open to them. They come in through the back porch door and right into the kitchen. They love all the food my little ones drop on the floor and they love the garbage can. Bringing pesticides into the home is not going to happen so when the ants start to arrive I have to find natural ways to get rid of them. I played this game for a bit at the tail end of summer last year and they kicked my … [Read more...]
