I came across a great freebie today designed for teachers. Eco-calendars for kids! I think they are a wonderful addition to schools and to homes as well. They are full-colour printable PDF calendars for kids and a great way to share environmental dates, facts and riddles with your kids 365 days a year! For instance the July calendar shows that yesterday was World Population Day and July 21st is National Parks Day. They also have amusing environmental facts and riddles for kids. They are really cool.

The rest of the site is pretty great too with many links and resources such as a virtual tour of an organic farm or the World Pizza game. Check it out with your kids.
