I’ve always wanted to visit Amish country and get to take a tour in a horse & carriage. I’ve seen a few buggies up in PA but I haven’t really gotten to see a lot of Amish farms. Btw, if you like the Amish, come check out my book giveaway on my blog.
I just got back from an Amish community in Tennessee. I brought home some fresh field corn (my favorite), pear butter, blueberry jelly, banana nut bread, & sourdough bread. I got to watch a family harvest hay while I waited to talk to the quiltmaker lady. It was so peaceful to visit with them & ride through their community. I can’t wait to go back. :) I heart farmland.
My family is planning a trip to TN and wanted to visit the Amish country while we were there and make that our destination. What part of TN did you visit, if you don’t mind me asking?
Thanks,
Kim

I’ve wanted to visit Amish country for some time now… if only just to say I’ve been. Happy travels! =)

Looking forward to hearing all about it!! Never been.
Sounds fun! I’ll be in Amish territory with my clan in just a couple of weeks :)
