I just had to post about this amazing video I saw from Beth at My Plastic Free Life. It really shows how ANYONE can stop using and buying so much plastic. If Beth can do it (without any known superpowers) than surely we can to. It sure as heck motivated me to try even harder! Enjoy!

Tiffany, thanks for posting the video! I realize it might seem extreme, but I’m just hoping there’s at least a few plastic-free steps in there that anyone can do.
Thank you for sharing this video! Reducing my plastic is going to be one of my goals this year.
Was fun to watch and really open your eyes to what is plastic……we do recycle and reuse as much as we can.
I’m a big fan of Beth’s blog too. She is a role model in the sustainable living community for sure. Last year we stopped using plastic bags and plastic water bottles. That reduced our trash significantly. This year with going on a raw food lifestyle I’m sure we will reduce our plastic waste even more. That’s the goal!
Its amazing, if Beth can do it then why not us.. It’s new year, so better start a happy green living. Plastic is really dangerous if heated on fire because it’s the primary cause of the depletion of the ozone layer.
My very own new year resolution.
Great video! I stopped using plastic bags when buying produce at the grovery store… when I get to the checkout, they always have this look like they wonder why I didnt use the bags. Why would I need them?
Also wanted to let you know I gave you the Happy 101 Award on my blog :)
Thanks for posting this! I love Beth but didn’t catch this blog entry! I took her plastic challenge months ago because I wanted to see the difference a toddler adds to household waste. We have cut back a ton – but sadly, in London, they won’t collect our trash unless it is in a garbage bag. I buy a biodegradable version.
Thanks for spreading the word about Beth’s great website and disposable plastic!
WOW! She is very creative! I really REALLY hate plastic in most forms. I know we need it for some things, but plastic shopping bags? Really? And what about the plastic flatware? Is it really so odd to bring your own cute bamboo flatware with a lovely glass straw? (where’d she get that I wonder…) Love this post!
Hi. The straw is from GlassDharma. They are also an advertiser on my site and super nice people.
Cool! Thanks!
