Homemade deodorant in actually one of the easiest home beauty products you can make. The issue is that many homemade deodorant recipes use baking soda as a key ingredient and it can be an irritant to the skin. Even if you don’t notice anything at first, days or even weeks down the road you may start to feel itchy, irritated, and raw from using this harsh ingredient on a daily basis. This goes for many natural store bought brands too…which is often why so many people are looking to DIY their deodorant anyway. The conventional stuff is toxic garbage and the natural stuff is often irritating to the skin. Our pits can be super sensitive and finding a natural yet effective deodorant is tricky.
This recipe is effective, it smells great, and it does not use baking soda. Win! It is also great if you want to reduce your impact and go zero waste. Enjoy!
