Zulily Deals this Week

By Tiffany Leave a Comment

Some great deals are happening on Zulily right now for greener gear and toys. First up is CitiBlocs. My kids have had these for years. I love that they are reminiscent of the plain wood blocks I had as a child. My brother and I had so many hours of opened ended play with blocks. Good times! I also love the colors...   Melissa and Doug Toys with lots of pretend/play food options made of wood. Goodbyn Lunchboxes - I reviewed them here and I have one child that LOVES this … [Read more...]

By Tiffany 2 Comments

When you are a kid, money can seem like a really huge deal.  Any amount of money that a child gets can make them feel very important, and the first thing they want to do is go out and spend their money. That is exactly what consumer America encourages them to do in fact.  In this day and age however, it might be a better idea for a child to save the money they get instead of going out to spend it.  This is something we all need to learn how to do unless we want to live paycheck to paycheck. Here … [Read more...]

The LunchBots Trio

By Tiffany 5 Comments

I have been a LunchBots fan for quite awhile. I have the LunchBots Duo and have used it for years now. I use it to store kiddie snacks on the road, I use it for school lunches, and I use it for my own snacks and lunch on occasion. It was this particular lunchbox that I took with me to a seminar I attended recently in fact. So color me overjoyed to try one of their new lunchboxes. I have eyed the Trio and the Quad with much desire. The folks at LunchBots kindly sent me the Trio and I have used … [Read more...]

Getting Dirty and Looking Pretty to Boot!

By Tiffany 3 Comments

This lovely lady to the right is my 8 year old daughter. I have two boys and yet she is the one who would gladly spend every available moment outside playing with friends and getting dirty. She is such an outdoor girl and she needs boots that will not only keep her feet warm during our cold Ohio winters, she also wants some that are fashionable. Whether you are splashing in puddles or building a fort you need to look good right? Well, I hear that you do anyway. The good folks at Bogs offered … [Read more...]

Reusable Swim Diapers for Green Tots and Babies

By Tiffany 18 Comments

In the summer time many moms might reach for those nifty disposable Swim Diapers so that our little ones can enjoy public pools, waterparks, and water play without worrying about accidents. Most public pools even require that kids who are not potty trained wear swim diapers. But did you know that you do not have to go the disposable route? There are many swim diapers on the market that can be bought for about the same price or even less than a package of disposable swim diapers. Cloth swim … [Read more...]
