The Ultimate Homemaking eBook Bundle

By Tiffany Leave a Comment

I guess this is a good thing though because it means ebooks are being widely supported and it is such a green and minimalist format. I know I am hooked! You can read them on your computer, on your smart phone, and on tablets anywhere, anytime. For book junkies like me it is just too … [Read more...]

All the Money In the World Book Review

By Tiffany 3 Comments

Over the weekend I did very little to celebrate Earth Day. I planned on doing some gardening but alas it was cold and rainy here in Ohio. I have read … [Read more...]

By Tiffany 5 Comments

December was a short "school" month obviously so I do not have as much to report as far as cool new-to-me resources. But I do have a few. I find that we are not using the Oak Meadow curriculum I bought. I guess even that is too structured for me. I think we are basically a mix of eclectic homeschoolers and unschoolers and we tend to learn in units and based upon our interests. We don't feel like tackling each subject every week (or month) or often times we want to incorporate those subjects … [Read more...]

15 Things I do to Save Money

By Tiffany 13 Comments

As I was compiling a list of 15 things I do to save money I was amazed how many of these things I do to further my causes as a natural and green mother. 1. I cook from scratch. 2. I buy foods and home products in bulk. 3. I make my son's school lunches. 4. I use cloth diapers and usually sewed them myself. 5. We do crafty things and DIY projects at home. For instance, we make our own play dough. 6. I shop at garage sales. 7. I make my own household products or beauty … [Read more...]
