Whenever you read articles or blog posts about budgeting and saving money there is always, always a tip to disconnect your cable and save $80-100+ a month. While I cannot dispute that this is a great tip and great way to save money, I was always firmly in the heck no camp. I don't watch a huge amount of TV but I do have some shows I like to watch...Property Brothers, Outlander, Grimm, Supernatural, etc. Some of those I could watch on my computer but honestly I don't enjoy watching that way. … [Read more...]
Inspiring Documentaries on Netflix
Unlike a lot of moms in the natural parenting blogosphere I don't really harp on media and electronics too often. We are not a TV free house and never will be. DisneyNature films are always stellar and I think this will be no exception, just like African Cats and Oceans. My … [Read more...]

Date night is something I hope that all couples are able to take advantage of at least once a month. It is so easy to lose your identity as a lover and partner when you have kids, home, work, bills, and all that other stuff that takes over our lives. I know I certainly let myself forget how important it was to stay connected to my husband over the years. Heck we didn't even celebrate our … [Read more...]
