No doubt I have mentioned before that I am a smoothie freak. I am “trying” to cut down to just one a day because I can really go overboard, especially in the summer. I made the following smoothie this morning and it was quite delicious. Tomorrow I think I might add some ground flax seed to it.
1 and 1/2 cups vanilla almond milk
1 cup frozen mixed berries (I used raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries)
1 cup frozen strawberries
1-2 drops of vanilla extract
1 tablespoon vegetable greens powder (I get mine from Whole Foods)
1 cup Kale
Blend until creamy smooth and drink up. Mmmmmm!
