I really think it might be a bit abnormal how much I love the store Whole Foods. If I went in alone I think I could spend several hours there…walking around with a glass of organic red wine, nibbling on raw goat’s cheese, walking the book and magazine isle, reading ingredient labels, talking to the sales people, smelling the incense, etc. I LOVE this store. It is also a lifesaver for natural families. When you have house-guests coming and you are out of your peppermint soda scrub and soy toilet cleaner or you need a special, last minute meal and a fabulous dessert…organic of course and snacks for a day trip, then Whole Foods is your store.
My brother is in town from Arizona this week and I picked up an awesome ham, a delicious fruit tart, and cupcakes from WF for his welcome dinner. And when we went to COSI today we snacked on Greens+ Raw Peanut Butter and Chocolate bars (seriously yummy). That way I can spend more time with my baby brother and not worry about having to cook so much. That and I didn’t have alot of time this weekend with a new product launch I had to oversee.
Even my dear hubby is getting addicted to this store and requests that we make a special trip whenever he is home. I also like The Sunflower Market as well and I happened to see one as I was cruising down town Columbus today so next time maybe I will check that out…that and the Japanese steakhouse and sushi bar I spied….oh yeah…. ;)
Doesn’t this look delicious????

I LOVE this.It is also a lifesaver for natural families thanks for this delicious.
Love Whole Foods! Love seeing all those fruits and veggies out in the open and not packaged in 37 layers of styrofoam and plastic.
I love Whole Foods too – my only questionable experience was when, during the height of apple-picking season, our local WF was featuring conventional apples from CA and New Zealand! I did hear from a rep. who told me that it’s all about find vendors able to supply them with the produce they need…but still…I’ll stick to our local farmer’s market for local vegetables and produce.
This is such a pretty fruit tart. I am sharing this fruit tart and your link on my blog @ mommiesandbeyond dot com. Thank-you.
