When I lived in Arizona I would hear many stories during the hot summer months of kids being injured or killed when left alone in vehicles. I feel ill just thinking about the stories I would hear on the news of a parent who left a sleeping child in the car so they could do their grocery shopping. My Backyard Wildlife Habitat
I came across a great post over at Unplug Your Kids, an awesome blog that shares the stories and experiences of a TV free family. The post about creating a certified wildlife habitat in your own backyard caught my eye. Berry Picking Adventure
A couple weeks ago I was reading about Carrie's adventure with a U-Pick farm. She and her kids went to pick blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries.
