Great product alert!! I am behind the times on this one I think but now it is my turn to sing the praises of the Chico Bag. I do use reusable bags when I go shopping. Heck, I don't want to be one of those average Americans that uses 700 plastic bags a year. Plastic Bags Banned
San Francisco's city council voted Tuesday (March 27, 2007) to become the first U.S. city to ban plastic bags from large supermarkets to help promote recycling. Under the legislation approved by the city's Board of Supervisors, large supermarkets and drugstores will not be allowed to offer plastic bags made from petroleum products starting in six months.
