Happy New Year!!!! I am especially happy this new year because things are already looking like 2007 will be a far better year than 2006. I ran across one of my posts last year on a personal blog and I can honestly say I am happy to leave that year behind me: Well, I am freakin tired of being sick mommy. I used to be a relatively healthy gal....never a major illness, never a broken bone. What I am now is a far cry from that. When I became pregnant with Parker my normal gyno tests turned up my … [Read more...]
Are iPods Eco Friendly Gadgets?
Well, I really hate to add to the rampant consumerism of our society but I simply love my ipod which I use for music, podcasts, business audios, and videos for my children to watch when we are out. When I was younger I worked as a manager at a movie theatre and my diet consisted largely of super oily popcorn and soda pop and maybe an occasional hot dog. I spent 80% of my week there working and playing...this was before I had children. :) A few years later I was doing marketing for a national physical therapy … [Read more...]
