Coconut Milk Yogurt and Coconut Water Kefir
This week I decided to try my hand making coconut yogurt AND coconut water kefir with young coconuts. If you are unfamiliar with young coconuts they are the white coconuts you often see in health food stores, not the mature brown ones that usually taste nasty (IMO at least). I just finished up an awesome new book last night. Crazy Sexy Diet: Eat Your Veggies, Ignite Your Spark, and Live Like You Mean It! by Kris Carr. I was looking forward to this book for a long time because Kris Carr and her ideas have a lot of personal significance to me. I ran across two separate articles today that essentially shared the same alarming trend. Unethical farmer's, agricorp, and chain grocery stores all want to cash in on this Farmer's Market - Local Food craze.
