The Chico Bag
Great product alert!! I am behind the times on this one I think but now it is my turn to sing the praises of the Chico Bag. I do use reusable bags when I go shopping. Organic Can Be Affordable
My recent post over at Green Options spurred a comment that organics are not affordable enough to be practical for average families. I find the comment extremely valuable because I used to think the exact same thing. I have had quite a few emails from the Nature Moms blog readers about doing an article on how to host a green birthday for kids. Ingredients 2 c. spelt flour or whole wheat flour 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. salt 2 c. grated carrots 1 c. milk, coconut milk, almond milk, or rice milk 1 1/2 c. applesauce 1 c. pure maple syrup, 1/2 c. crushed walnuts Preheat the oven to 350F.
