I went primal/paleo about 3.5 months ago now. It has been for the most a wonderful and exhilarating ride that has brought so much to my health. I have lost inches off my waistline, I have gained energy, I have started sleeping much better, and I just feel more youthful. And yet, about the same time I went primal I also started experiencing PMS issues, which wasn't such a great side effect. 7 Simple Tips for Healthy Eating at Home
Yesterday I read an article that really raised my eyebrows recently. The article claimed that 40% of American meals are now purchased and consumed outside the home. Detroit Child Vaccinated at School Without Parental Consent
This news story has me absolutely FUMING and it has become clear that I need to have a discussion with my kids about what they need to do if their school even DARE to try this. Apparently a 14 year old child in Detroit was suddenly pulled from her class without warning or explanation. They took her to the nurses office and gave her four different vaccine shots. They never asked for parental permission and in fact they ignored a signed directive on file from the girl's mother to never provide … [Read more...]

We started out by going to hang out with Arnold Schwarzenegger at The Arnold Sports Festival. Okay so we didn't actually hang out with Arnie but we did see him! The festival was awesome and for the most part we hung out in the CrossFit room watching the CrossFit Games but we also checked out the Fencing, Martial Arts, … [Read more...]
